Be a person who makes people feel good, makes them know they are heard, makes them feel encouraged and valued. Be a person who adds energy, warmth, and builds their trust towards themselves and people altogether.
We meet people in so many different stages of their lives - not to mention our own lives. We can never truly know where they’re coming from, what they have gone trough and how deep their scars are. Nor do we necessarily need to. We don’t need all that information to be able to be good to each other, to be a positive example, or maybe an exception on the list of people they’ve crossed paths with.
But we can leave people better than we found them. Leave them with something good, with better understanding of things, and with better tools to go on with. I believe that even during a brief acquaintance, even with a stranger, you can leave something valuable of yourself behind. Even if it’s just a simple advice or a little more faith in themselves. Those things can really go a long way!
I have this silly thing I’ve always believed in. This silly little thing called karma. I honestly trust that our actions travel a full circle and that you get what you give. So I like to invest in people. Surely not all of the effects and impacts are something to be seen or noticed quickly, oh no, some things can take up to years. But if you are a good person and do things truly from your heart, it can’t go unnoticed (at least from the universe).
I want to leave you with one thought today. Think about how happy it could make you to hear this from somebody: “Even if you’re not here to stay, I’m happy the universe allowed your soul to stop by.”
