Amusement parks aren't fun just for kids but they can be exciting shooting places too!
For the whole Summer I was planning on shooting something in Linnanmäki but didn't really find the time until the very last week the place was open. Better late than never, right?! I had a session with Tiki who has just the right type of street style and in other respects, an interesting look. And for this particular idea shooting in the penny arcade / play hall, I couldn't think of anyone more suitable than Tiki, (God bless that cutie pie).
It was very dark that day and the existing light indoors did not work as well as I had hoped, so I ended up using the flash light from my phone during the shoot. That was NOT a piece of cake as I needed both of my hands to keep the camera steady, so I had to play with angles and my own postures even more than usual! Gladly our goal that day was to get only few fun shots instead of a big, varied entity, and therefore I can say I am pleased with the outcome!
I don't usually do much of changes to the tones I shoot but this time I was a bit bothered by all of the different colors in the place so it was clear that I would alter the tones in the image processing stage. I ended up choosing pink and purple for these guns were pink and because I'm obsessed with purple at the moment.
What do you guys like the shoot?
